Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island is probably one of the most photographed beaches in the world. With its pure white silica sand beach and dazzling blue water it is highly photogenic. As always, I dislike replicating what others have done so here we have a different mood and atmosphere for one of the worlds best loved beaches. This photo was taken very late in the afternoon during that fleeting moment that I call the afterglow.
