Mulligan's Creek on Hinchinbrook Island flows easterly across Mulligan's Beach, often hampering hikers walking the Thorsborne Trail. The creek can only be crossed at low tide when the water is knee deep. The headwaters of the creek are sourced from high up on Mt. Diamantina and Mt. Straloch.
