Nandroya Falls is located in the heart of the great Wet Tropics World Heritage area of Queensland. Many plants found here are endemic, and found nowhere else. The Wet Tropical rainforests were finally saved in 1988, when logging ceased and the area was justifiably listed for its unique flora and fauna to be protected for perpetuity.
